Some call it as divine, some believe that the water of Baoli has alleviate power, but one thing that everybody agrees upon is that the ancient step well needs conservation. Believed to be constructed by Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, the stepwell is located near the Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya’s Dargah. Located in the cosy neighbourhood of Nizamuddin, the Baoli is one among the few functioning Baoli in Delhi. Baoli was once a fame of any kingdom, with every stepwell displaying a unique design, but over a period of time, these Baoli have been cast away by the rapid development and these stepwells lost their glory. Delhi has various such stepwell,  within the tales of glorious past, ignored by the great authorities, fighting for its survival. But, many of them still stand tall, giving tourist a glimpse into the medieval times. Hazrat Nizamuddin Baoli is one such exact example. The Baoli is still a major visitors hotspot, with those devotees seeking the blessings of the divine water. There is a natural spring in the well which provides a continuous supply of water to the Baoli.
