Gate of India
India Gate is in the center of Delhi, originally they were known as the All India War Memorial. This is one of India's most famous landmarks, the Gateway of India is a monument that marked the death of 90,000 soldiers of the British army who lost their lives in World War I. The memorial also contains the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers who died during the Third Anglo-Afghan War.
The structure of the monument consists entirely of red sandstone and granite. After India gained independence, the Gate of India became the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in India. This tomb is also known as Amar Jawan Jyoti (the flame of an immortal warrior).
Today, the Gateway of India is one of the main tourist destinations visited by tourists from all corners of the country and the world. There is also a pond where visitors can enjoy boat rides and spend time comfortably on green lawns. It is an ideal place for a morning or evening walk. Ice cream vendors and street vendors will help create the perfect picnic for you. The Gate of India, as is known, annually marks the Indian day of the Republic on January 26.
Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar - Architectural Miracle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this building is the second tallest minaret (73 meters high) in India after Fateh Burj in Chappar Chiri in Mohali (100 meters high). Tourists from all over the world visit the city to look at this structure. The Kutub Minar complex shows its entire appearance about the Mughal dynasty. Qutub Minar was built by the hands of Qutub-ud-din Aibak and Illtutmish using red sandstone and marble. In addition to the main structure, there are many additional structures within the complex:
Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque
The mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Delhi, which today is mostly in ruins. Some parts of the structure are still safe to visit, and they are still known for their beauty and carvings.
Alai-Darwaza
Alai-Darwaza - the carved gate leading to the Islamic mosque Kuvvat-ul-Islam on the territory of the complex. The gates are located behind the minaret Qutub Minar, they are built using marble stone. 
Iron Pillar
The seven-meter pillar of Iron Pillar was raised by Chandragupta II Vikramaditya in 400 AD. The pillar is resistant to rust and creates a stellar appeal to the whole complex.
Mausoleum of Iltutmish

Red Fort
Red Fort, was built in the 16th century under the Mughal empire during the reign of Shah Jahan. That is why the monument says a lot about the supremacy of the Mughals in India. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Red Fort is one of the most iconic monuments of India. The structure of the fort is made in the form of an octagon, which has long extended its walls to the east and west. The grand structure has 14 gates, of which the most important are Lahori, Mori, Ajmeri, Turkmen, Delhi and Kashmir. Inside the main structure of the Red Fort there are several separate structures. Of all the buildings, Diwan-e-Aam is the most important and beautiful. This is the place from which the king communicated with ordinary people about their problems and complaints. Noteworthy are other structures: Diwan-e-Khas, Moti Masjid and Mumtaz Mahal.
Every evening, there is a sound and light show for the entertainment of visitors. The show tells visitors about the history of the Great Moguls. Every year on August 15, on the occasion of Independence Day, the Prime Minister of India raises the national flag at the main gate of the Red Fort.
Chandni Chowk
The picture of Delhi is incomplete without mention of its overcrowded markets. Chandni Chowk is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi. The market is one of the most popular sights of the city. Chandni Chowk is compulsory for visiting for every tourist. The market remains filled with buyers to the limit all day. The noisy streets of Chandni Chowk lined up next to shops selling beautiful saris, bracelets and shoes. The main part of this shopping street is divided into several sub-bands. The popular rows of the street are Paranthe Wali Gali, Kinari Bazar, Chandi Gali (for silver items), Dupatte Wali Gali and Itar Vali Gali (for spirits in their traditional forms). This place is ideal for those who are not indifferent to shopping. And that's not all, Chandni Chowk is also a paradise for gourmets. Chandni Chowk will restore your taste buds with delicious creamy paras from Paranthe Wali Gali himself.
