1) INDIA GATE

  • It is popularly termed as All India War Memorial that was built in the honour of 82000 soldiers of Indian Army who lost their lives during the First World War that happened from 1914 to 1921 as well as in the Third Anglo-Afghan War
  • It was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, a simple structure covering a black marble plinth with a reversed rifle which was capped by a war helmet and bounded by four eternal flames built under the Memorial Archway. This place is the must-visit place in Delhi.
