• Doodhpathri: An unending carpet of green meadows interrupted by darker spikes of pine and deodar, and frothy water flowing along, peppered by grey stones along the side is the enchanting view of Doodhpathri. This is the place where famous Kashmiri saint Sheikh Noor din Noorani had stuck his stick so as to find water for washing his hands before prayer and had found milk instead. However, the great saint refrained from using the milk as he believed that milk should only be used for drinking, whereupon the milk which was oozing out was changed to water. This legend lends Doodhpathri to its name. Also, the water flowing here is so frosty that it has a milky appearance and hence the name seems to fit.

• Pari Mahal: This fairyland place is the Palace commissioned by Prince Dara Shikoh, son of Emperor Shah Jahan. The palace has a sprawling garden, an outer wall of 21 arches, and 6 terraces. The prince was taught astronomy and astrology here. Originally built upon the ruins of an old Buddhist monastery Building, this mahal is also somewhat in ruins in present, which is why cautions should be taken while roaming here.
