Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lhasa

Arrive at Delhi airport on scheduled date. Our representative will provide you necessary documents and information. Receive the documents and take a flight from Delhi to Kathmandu. You will be welcomed by our representative in Kathmandu. Check-in to the hotel and have dinner. You will be given brief about the tour by evening. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.

After breakfast, start sightseeing of heritage sites of Kathmandu including Pashupatinath temple and Jal Narayan. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Engage in shopping by evening. Return to hotel in Kathmandu for dinner and overnight stay.

Early in the morning, post breakfast take a flight to Lhasa, a Tibetan city. Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to booked hotel. Spend entire day resting at hotel and taking a stroll nearby to adjust your body with high altitude atmosphere. Have dinner and stay overnight in hotel at Lhasa.

After breakfast start exploring Lhasa city. Visit Patola Palace-the oldest palace of Dalai Lama, Norbulingka Palace-summer palace of Dalai Lama with beautiful garden and Drepung Monastery. By evening return to hotel in Lhasa for dinner and overnight stay.

Early in morning check out of hotel and drive to Shigatse from Lhasa that is residence of Panchen Lama. After lunch explore monastery of Tashilhunpo, visit temple of Buddha of the future-Maytreya and other temples. Check-in to the hotel in Shigatse for dinner and overnight stay.

Next morning post breakfast you will board into a jeep to start your journey towards Tibetan town Saga. You will be given packed lunch by our representatives. After a long drive through sandy and rocky lands of Tibet you will cross Brahmaputra river way by afternoon and you will reach Saga by evening. Check-in to the guesthouse in Saga. Have dinner and stay overnight in the guesthouse.

Next morning post breakfast you will start driving towards Lake Mansarovar via Pyarang. You will get filled with excitement as by afternoon you can have first sight of holy Mount Kailash. You will reach Hore, a small village near Mount Kailash by evening. Explore this Tibetan village for rest of your day. Check-in to hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

After breakfast, take a short drive to Lake Mansarovar. Take a dip into its holy water. Spend entire day exploring area nearby this lake. Perform pooja and other spiritual activities by the shore. Witness sunset from the banks of holy Mansarovar. By evening, pack your luggage as you will be driving to Darchen. Check-in to the hotel in Darchen for dinner and overnight stay. Prepare for next day’s long trek.

Next morning post breakfast you will start your Kailash Parikrama by walking through sandy, rocky lands of Tibet. You will be provided a personal guide and your luggage will be carried by Yaks. Walk through sacred valleys of Kailash Range where you will feel the blessings of Lord Shiva on every step. Complete the trek of 6 long hours and reach Dirapuk by evening. Stay at guesthouse in Dirapuk.

This is holiest yet hardest day of your pilgrimage. You will be given packed lunch by our staff. After a few hours of walking, you will reach Dolma La pass which is main destination of Kailash Kora. You will have to cross Yamsthal to reach Shivasthal. On reaching top, take some pictures, explore nearby area, find a good place and meditate for a while. On your way back visit Gauri kund. Trek down to Zuthulphuk by evening and stay at guesthouse.

Next morning, complete your Kailash Parikrama and after 3 hours of walking reach guesthouse in Saga. Spend rest of your day in resting and shopping from local shops. Have dinner and stay overnight at Saga.

Post breakfast, leave as early as possible and drive to Lhasa city. Take a halt in Shigatse town by afternoon to have lunch. Reach Lhasa by night. Have dinner and stay overnight at Lhasa.

This is last day of your tour. Early in the morning post breakfast, drive to Gonggar airport from Lhasa. Reach Kathmandu after 2 hour long flight. Have lunch at Kathmandu. Then after take a flight back to Delhi where you will be received by our representatives.
